Airelles Palladio, Venice

A Palladio facade, four star chefs and St Mark's across the water. Subtle, it isn't.

Giudecca, Venice · €€€€

Venice's newest grand address, and already a personal favourite: 45 rooms and suites in a Palladio landmark on Giudecca, set in almost a hectare of gardens facing St Mark's. Four star chefs, including Nobu and Jean-Georges, make the dinner programme, while the 450 m² Suite del Doge and a three-bedroom pool villa handle the VIPs.

Good to know

Opened in spring 2026 (reports give April and May). Accommodation is 17 rooms and 28 suites; the largest options are the Suite del Doge in Villa Frollo (450 m², four bedrooms, up to eight adults) and Villa Mason in the Conventino (200 m², three bedrooms, up to six guests, private pool and garden), which together suit a VIP party wanting its own wing. Villa Frollo restaurant is open for dinner Wednesday to Sunday, 7pm to 10pm. The concierge can arrange private experiences, including visits to the Doge's Palace, the Biennale and private palazzi, plus a mixology masterclass at the Palladio Bar. A complimentary boat shuttle to St Mark's (about five minutes) is reported. The hotel does not publish meeting-room capacities or exclusive-use terms, so confirm private dining, event spaces and use of the church with the hotel directly.
