Le Bernardin

Three Michelin stars, four New York Times stars, and the fish is still the star of the plate.

155 West 51st Street, Midtown Manhattan · $$$$

Eric Ripert's seafood temple in Midtown, with three Michelin stars and the client dinner that needs no explaining. For private events there are two spaces: Les Salons Bernardin upstairs, with its own entrance, seats 2 to 60, and Le Bernardin Privé across the Galleria seats up to 150 and has a studio kitchen for chef demonstrations.

“Truly, this is the moment to dress up, as diamond necklaces and finely pressed suits fill the kinetic dining room night after night.”
