Rainbow Room
Sixty-five floors up, the dance floor still turns. Some traditions are worth keeping.

New York's most storied ballroom, on the 65th floor of 30 Rockefeller Plaza, with a revolving dance floor, crystal chandeliers and the skyline on every side. It is now a private-event venue only, seating up to 320 or taking 450 for a reception, with The Gallery, a Private Dining Room and Bar SixtyFive alongside for smaller groups or a full-floor buyout. Main room: 450 reception, 350 theatre, 320 seated, 225 classroom (the printed private events guide gives 300 seated, so confirm against your floor plan).
