Delaire Graff Estate

A diamantaire's wine estate, where even the cheetah in the garden is a bronze.

Helshoogte Pass, Banhoek Valley, Stellenbosch (on the R310 between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek) · $$$$

One we know well: Laurence Graff's wine estate high on the Helshoogte Pass, with just 17 rooms across private pool lodges and the Owner's Villa, three restaurants, a spa and more than 400 works from his art collection. The estate takes up to 36 overnight guests, so a small group can all but have it to themselves, while the Vinoteque seats 18 for private dinners and Lorenzo's pergola seats 40 for long lunches.
