Our go-to in the city, and a resort we know well: 131 rooms and suites on the V&A Waterfront marina, with island rooms at the water's edge, a spa on its own private island and Nobu's only restaurant in Southern Africa. For groups, the King Protea Ballroom takes 140 conference delegates or 120 for dinner, and the Reserve Room seats 22 for private dinners, Nobu set menus included. A Michelin Key hotel, with Table Mountain filling the view from the Marina Rise.

131 rooms and suites, from Marina Rooms (63 sqm) to Island Grand Suites (181 sqm) and two-bedroom family suites of up to 254 sqm. Event spaces: the King Protea Ballroom (216 sqm, divisible into two) takes 140 conference delegates, 120 for a banquet or 150 for a cocktail reception; the Silver Tree Meeting Room takes up to 50; the Pincushion Protea Boardroom seats 12. Private dining: the Reserve Room hosts set menus, including Nobu set menus, for up to 22 guests; ROOI set menus run for groups of up to 20, with a larger South African menu for up to 70; poolside at Isola, menus such as a braai or a lamb spit work for up to 30 seated (50 standing on some menus). Event menus are priced in rand, including VAT but excluding a 10% service charge, and are only guaranteed a month before the event because they follow the season.
